How does it work?
The Sexual Health Circus Show is designed to be shown to one year group at a time. From the pilot project we have deduced that the show is most suitable for years 9 & 10 although can be enjoyed by years 11 & 12.

We come to your school and require a hall with enough space for seats for one year group and a 10 metre by 10 metre space to set up our stage. We perform the 1 hour show to 1 year group at a time.
After the show we make time for an all-important anonymous question and answer session in order to fill in any gaps in the student's knowledge that have arisen from watching the show. Students often also ask us questions about being circus performers and making the show, as well as about sexual health education.
5 follow-up Relationship and Sex Education lesson plans complete with the SHC video are given to the teachers at the school to deliver to the students. These lesson plans have been quality assured by youth sexual health chairty Brook and are in line with the new RSE curriculum.
